PawSox News

Adam had a good game the other nights, here's the story from PawSox.com:

(Toledo, OH) - Adam Stern homered to lead off the ballgame, and knocked in another pair of runs in the seventh to lead the PawSox to a 3-0 win over Toledo. The start of the game was delayed by rain for 35 minutes and the game was halted in the middle of the ninth as the skies opened up again. Jason Johnson was magnificent for the second straight start. Johnson hurled 7 shutout innings, holding the Mud Hens to 2 hits. Craig Breslow finished the ballgame for Pawtucket. Stern and Willie Harris had 2 hits each. At 54-51, the PawSox equal their "high-water" mark at 3 games over .500. The series and road trip come to an end with a 7:00 start on Friday night. Kason Gabbard (1-3) faces Jordan Tata (7-4).

Also, Luke Allen was traded to San Diego on July 21st. We'll miss you, Luke!

And finally, the Fans of Adam have an official outing next week, and, as always, we won't be hard to spot. Looking foward to that! Til then...

PawSox

So the PawSox were supposed to be on NESN tonight, due to the big leaguers playing this afternoon. However, that didn't happen, atleast not here. Oh well, the boys won 6-3 anyway. Adam went 2-for-5, with a stolen base, caught stealing once, and with an assist from center. Sounds good -- would have been nice to see. Last game of the homestand tomorrow.

Random nice article from earlier in the year about Adam here.

In site news, yesterday I put up a few mp3s of Adam-related audio -- more should be on the way as I re-discover the good stuff. Also, the welcome page is revamped with a polaroid theme going on which I'm liking at the moment -- somewhat a tribute to our polaroid-taking friend.

Adam & Site News

Hi anyone reading this, and thanks for visiting the Fans of Adam Stern blog. We're just getting started with our web-presence, so bear with us. We plan to have news and thoughts concerning Adam, us the fans, and probably whatever else that's somewhat relevent. So that's the plan. Also, check out our brand-new website. And of course, thanks for stopping by.

Adam went 2-for-4 tonight as the PawSox won. Mr. Jealous aka Murphdog aka David Murphy also had a great night.

Also, there's a random picture of our security guard on PawSox.com, as pictured here -- not really sure what that's about, but hey, we love him. Maybe he's getting an award for dealing with us? Who knows.

I'm currently listening to an audio stream of the last time we went to a game -- it's interesting.
